Ample off road parking for several cars to the right and left of the property including car port. Private patio area surrounded with shrubs, with garden furniture ideal for sunbathing lounger chairs provided.

An enclosed paddock, approximately quarter of an acre, providing an ideal area for children to play in a safe environment while parents can relax and watch them from the patio or garden room.

Walking – There are many beautiful costal walks with views of  spectacular sea cliffs, flora and fauna – you can lose yourself in the tranquillity. There are also many circular walks around TanRhald Bella cottage including the historic Parys mountain walking trail.


Cycling - There are also marked rural cycle routes around and details of these can be obtained from the information centre – some literature is in the cottage.

Fishing – Course fishing can be enjoyed at Llyn Alaw (don’t forget your licence) you can fish off the rocks around the island the nearest at Moelfre which is only 3 miles away. Sea fishing charter trips are available from a number of professional skippers at the port of Amlwch.

Golfing – Bring your golf clubs – there is a municipal course at Llangefni and Bull Bay Golf Club (only about 3 miles away) welcomes visiting members.

Bird Watching – There are many sites on the island. On Parys Mountain you can see buzzards flying every day from the haven of the garden room at TanRhald along with many other birds which visit the garden.

For the more active: scuba diving, surfing, canoeing and windsurfing are at many resorts all within easy driving distance away.
